About IP Segment Availability Scan
This tool scans all IP addresses in a specified IPv4 /21-32 segment for alive status, supporting high-concurrency ICMP Ping and mixed TCP probing. Ideal for IP resource availability assessment, network planning, and troubleshooting.
- Scan Range: Currently only /21-32 segments are supported (2048-1 IPs). For larger ranges, please split into multiple /21 segments.
- Mixed Probe Mode: When ICMP Ping times out, the system automatically performs TCP port probing (22/80/443) to penetrate no-ping policies.
- Segmented View: Results are automatically grouped by /24 subnet for easy target segment location.
- Status Explanation: Alive means host responded to ICMP or TCP probe; Dead/Timeout means no response within timeout.
FAQ: What is CIDR IP scanning?
CIDR (Classless Inter-Domain Routing) scanning probes all IP addresses within a specified network range to determine which hosts are alive and responsive.
FAQ: What is mixed probing mode?
When standard ICMP ping times out, the system automatically performs TCP port probing (ports 22, 80, 443) to detect hosts that block ICMP but have active services.
FAQ: What is the maximum scan range supported?
This tool currently supports /21 maximum (2048 IPs). For larger ranges, please split into multiple scans.
